Frequently asked questions
Do you offer a free demo class?
Yes. Every course starts with a free 30-minute demo class, so you can meet the teacher and see how lessons work before you enrol.
What is the minimum age to join?
Children can join from 5 years old. For the youngest students we usually suggest keyboard or Carnatic vocals, which build rhythm and a musical ear gently.
Which music courses do you offer?
Six: piano, keyboard, guitar (acoustic and electric), drums, Carnatic vocals and ukulele. Each one is taught from complete beginner to advanced.
Are classes held online or in person?
In person. All classes take place at our studio in Kukatpally, in small batches so every student gets personal attention.
What are the batch timings?
Timings are flexible. Tell us what suits you when you book your demo class, and we’ll find a batch that fits around school, college or work.
Do I need my own instrument for the classes?
Not at first. You can use the academy’s instruments for your demo and your early lessons. To keep improving, we recommend getting your own to practise on at home, especially for guitar and drums.
Do you provide recognized certifications?
Yes. We prepare students for graded exams from Trinity College London and ABRSM, particularly in piano and keyboard.
Are there stage performance opportunities?
Yes. We hold student recitals, open mic events and an annual concert, so students get regular chances to perform.
How long does it take to learn an instrument?
It depends on the instrument and how often you practise. Most students can play simple songs within 3 to 6 months, and reaching an advanced level takes a few years of steady practice.
